An informed team is a productive team

The 90/10 rule

My leadership style starts with my “90/10” rule. Information is currency. I like my team to know 90% of what I know. That way they are empowered, can see the whole chessboard and are able to do their jobs better. The other 10%? That’s either information that is highly confidential and won’t help the team do their jobs and/or is still too speculative to have an impact on operations.

I’ve lead large teams across various disciplines and countries.
